Brrrrr.....Baby! It's cold outside! For the small breed dog owners (under 30 pounds) winter time can be tough for your small dog to get enough exercise and socialization. Between the cold, the snow and the ice it is sometimes too hard on a small dogs paws, ears and nose to be out in the cold.
Consider a morning in a 'temperature controlled, safe dog park'. I will be opening up the Justice facility for use as a Small Breed Justice Dog Park specifically for dogs under 30 pounds (with proper vaccinations) on the first, third and fourth Saturdays of the month from 8:30am - 11am. Bring your pet, join me for some coffee or hot chocolate and just socialize with your fellow dog owners while your pets enjoy themselves with their fellow doggie friends.
With room to run, and time to play, your small dog will get the exercise and socialization it needs during the winter months to "stay out of trouble" in the house. Remember, a tired dog is a good dog.
With safety always being the first concern - only dog friendly, people friendly dogs will be allowed; all vaccines must be up-to-date; aggressive - rough players will not be allowed; owner's must monitor their dogs behavior (I will also be there to monitor inappropriate behavior); no choke collars will be allowed; no bones allowed.
There will be a limit to 10 dogs so please email me in advance of your participation. $5 entrance fee.
Dog Park Days - January 7, January 21, January 28, February 4, February 18, February 25, March 3, March 17 and March 24, 2012
