FALL BACK INTO TRAINING
Fall is definitely here - the leaves are falling, the weather is much cooler! As the squirrels and other animals get ready for winter there are many more smells out there to entice your dogs - along with the movement of the animals. During those cold months right around the corner, challenge your dog to be the best they can be. Enroll in a class today and keep your dog mentally and physically challenged. Training is a journey that never ends. The old saying "use it or lose it" applies to our pets too.

When I adopted my dog from the Humane Society, it was apparent that I needed
one-on-one training. Even better, since I adopted a rescue dog, I was given a
discount which brought the cost down even more. Right from my first phone call
to Gayle, I know I was on to something good. Three weeks before our first
‘session’ we talked many times on the phone with my questions and her advice.
After our first session, it was obvious that Gayle would really be training me on
how to train my dog. I could not be happier; my dog developed the manners I
knew he had. Even after my sessions were over, Gayle continued to make
herself available to me by way of e-mail and phone when I had additional
questions. I have now adopted another dog and can’t wait to start incorporating
all of what was taught to me into the new pup. I highly recommend Gayle to
anyone interested in making their dog a well-mannered member of the family.
By the way, my dog is four years old and yes, you can teach on old dog new
tricks. Dani, Steel and Mags
We had two 8 month puppies (dachshund & chihuahua mix-Ripley and Zoey) that
were chewing on our brand new furniture, going on puppy pads, and having
accidents on the furniture on a daily basis. I read articles, dog books, you name it,
but could not figure out a way to make it stop. I am a firm believer in positive dog
reinforcement and that was the only option for us.
After searching online and considering a trainer, we came across it's a "Paws-itive
Thing" and decided to give it a try.
In two sessions we were able to get the accidents to stop and had our pups going
potty outside, not to mention getting them to sit, stay and learn some basic
manners. By our last session we were walking on the leash with minimal barking
(as they LOVE to bark at EVERYTHING and ANYTHING). I couldn't believe it!
Gayle's techniques and years of experience has not only set our puppies up for
success but also has helped our sanity! She is able to quickly identify what each
dog needed improvement on and her training was customized to each dog's
personality/learning ability. With the training techniques we were taught, our dogs
have been completely transformed into happy, well disciplined dogs.
It is WELL worth the investment and is much more convenient than any other
training programs we looked into - and its reasonable too! I highly recommend her
to anyone who needs the help; she is fantastic!
