a classroom setting. That's why I strongly believe in private in-
home training and offer this service as well as group training.
Training at home is very successful. Your dog is in a comfortable
environment with all of the distractions that a normal day-to-day
existence has. In-home training allows you to establish that bond
at home where all training really begins! I encourage all family
members to take part in training. All training methods are done
with positive reinforcement. Since these classes are all one-on-
one teaching, they are fast paced, intense and direct to the point
and will provide positive results. You don't have to share your
time with other students and we can work on the issues going on
in your home (i.e. kitchen table beggars, counter surfers, door
jumpers, etc). Multi-dog discounts offered.

This is the most critical time during the life of your dog – it is the
foundation for things to come! We all realize at some point that
what is so “cute” for a puppy is not so “cute” in a full-grown dog.
Puppy sessions provide education for the whole family on:
leadership, manners, socialization, housebreaking, proper play
and beginning obedience. These sessions are designed to stop
unwanted behaviors such as nipping, chewing, jumping, and
barking. Ages 8 weeks to 4 months. 4 one-hour sessions. $150
- $200 depending on location.
‘Paws’-itively Basic:
Basic dog obedience is designed to teach the essential
commands that every owner and dog will benefit from. This
program will cover positive training techniques and general
applications for the day to day life with your dog. Some of the
basic commands include sit, sit/stay, down, down/stay, come,
loose-leash walking, leave it, drop it, move and back up. I will
even include a session on beginning agility for some added fun
and confidence building! 4 Months and older. Four one-hour
sessions. $150 - $200 depending on location.
‘Paws’-itive Integrations:
Whether you are bringing a newborn baby home from the
hospital, buying a new puppy for your child, or bringing home a
new pet to co-habitate with another pet or simply need help
selecting a new puppy or dog, a pet integration lesson can make
your life transition easier. These sessions are designed to show
all family members the best way to integrate a new pet into your
household. One-hour session - $45.00

This program is for dogs that have a specific unwanted behavior
issues such as: aggression, jumping, barking, chewing, leash
pulling, improper elimination etc. Sessions are offered in
conjunction with a basic obedience program, if required, or
separately for previously obedience trained dogs that have
specific behavior problems. Since each issue is different please
call to set up a consultation. In-home consultation fee - $50.00

Each program is designed just for you. Focus on the training
your lifestyle demands. All classes will be custom designed to fit
your needs. Single training sessions are also available should
you just need to work on a few things like leash walking, jumping,

It's a 'Paws'-itive Thing and Polite Paws have teamed up to offer
an elite and unique program designed for the busy family. You
want a pet but sometimes your schedule just doesn't allow for
training time everyday and a weekly training session. Don't worry
- you don't have to send your pet off to an unfamiliar place for
training, let us train your pet right in the comfort of your/their own
home. Your pet learns in their own environment and interacts
with the family during training instead of being trained elsewhere
and returned to you when training is complete. We design each
program to fit your family needs and lifestyle. We visit with your
pet three times a week for training sessions for 4-6 weeks. We
teach your pet all of the doggy basics - sit, down, sit-stay, down-
stay, leash walking, fetch, beginning recall, appropriate guest
greeting (no jumping) and door manners. We provide you written
detailed instructions after each session on the commands taught
and how to effectively use them and maintain them through your
everyday lifestyle. We will even work with you to show you
housebreaking tips and help you teach your children the puppy
